Gifts from the New York Review’s Children Collection went over very well recently. Palmer Brown’s Beyond the Pawpaw Trees and The Silver Nutmeg were loved so much that there are now requests for books for friends. And Jenny and the Cat Club was a big hit. Stories from it read nightly.
